1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ShopFlow ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ShopFlow is a comprehensive business management application designed for small business owners. The App provides features including:

• Inventory management and tracking

• Sales transaction recording and analytics

• Purchase and expense management

• Customer debt and supplier credit tracking

• AI-powered business insights and analytics

• Receipt scanning using AI technology

• Multi-business management

• Business milestone tracking

• Shop network for business connections

• Smart notifications and reminders

• Data export capabilities (Premium)

3. User Accounts

To use ShopFlow, you must:

• Create an account with accurate information

• Maintain the security of your account credentials

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

• Not share your account with others

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

Free Plan:

• Access to basic features

• Manage up to 2 businesses

• Standard support

Premium Subscription:

• Unlimited businesses

• Advanced analytics and custom reports

• AI receipt scanning

• Data export (CSV/PDF)

• Priority support

• Team collaboration features

Subscription Terms:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled

• You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings

• Refunds are handled according to the app store's refund policy

• Prices may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

5. Data Usage and Storage

Your Data:

• You retain all rights to your business data

• We use Firebase for secure cloud storage

• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest

• We never sell your data to third parties

• You can export or delete your data at any time

AI Features:

• AI features use Google Gemini AI

• Receipt images may be processed for data extraction

• AI-generated insights are recommendations only

• You are responsible for verifying AI-processed data

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purposes

• Upload malicious code or viruses

• Attempt to hack or compromise the App

• Use the App to harass others

• Violate any intellectual property rights

• Create fake accounts or businesses

• Scrape data from other users

• Interfere with the App's operation

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ShopFlow and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The ShopFlow name, logo, and all related names are trademarks of ShopFlow.

8. Third-Party Services

ShopFlow integrates with third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) - Data storage and authentication

• Google Gemini AI - AI-powered features

• RevenueCat - Subscription management

• Payment processors - In-app purchases

These services have their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

ShopFlow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Data loss or corruption

• Business decisions made based on App data

• Errors in AI-generated content

• Third-party service failures

• Lost profits or business interruption

You use the App at your own risk. Always maintain independent backups of critical business data.

10. Data Backup and Responsibility

While we automatically backup your data to the cloud:

• You are responsible for maintaining your own backups

• We recommend regular data exports (Premium feature)

• We are not liable for data loss due to service outages

• Account deletion results in permanent data removal

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service

• You engage in fraudulent activity

• Required by law

• The App is discontinued

You may terminate your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via:

• In-app notifications

• Email notifications

• App update notes

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

13. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
