1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Day's End ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Day's End ("we", "our", or "us").

2. Description of Service

Day's End is a mobile application that allows users to: • Log and track events and activities globally • View trending events and statistics • Create custom events (Premium feature) • Comment on events (Premium feature) • Track personal streaks and achievements • Receive notifications about events and reminders • Subscribe to event milestone notifications We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use the App, you must: • Create an account through Firebase Authentication • Provide a valid email address • Be at least 13 years of age • Provide accurate information You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account • All activities that occur under your account • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free and Premium Features

Free Account: • Unlimited event logs • Access to basic features • View trending events and statistics • Advertisements displayed in the app (including an interstitial ad after each event log) Premium Subscription Benefits: • Create custom events for others to log • Log custom events created by others • Leave comments on events • Ad-free experience • All future premium features Premium subscriptions are available on a weekly or monthly basis and are processed through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

5. Subscription Terms

Billing and Renewal

Premium subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes for existing subscribers will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will apply at the next renewal.

Refunds

All subscription purchases are final. Refund requests must be made through your app store (Apple or Google) and are subject to their refund policies.

6. User Conduct and Content

You agree NOT to: • Create events with offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content • Use profanity or hate speech in event names or comments • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity • Spam or abuse the event logging system • Attempt to manipulate trending events or statistics • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users • Violate any applicable laws or regulations • Upload malicious code or attempt to hack the App • Use automated systems (bots) to log events • Share your account credentials with others We reserve the right to: • Remove any content that violates these terms • Suspend or terminate accounts for violations • Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities

7. Content Moderation

We use automated filtering to detect offensive content in: • Event names • Custom event names (Premium) • Comments (Premium) We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content at our discretion. Events and comments that violate our guidelines will be deleted, and repeat offenders may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

8. Event Data and Ownership

When you log an event: • The event name and timestamp become part of our public database • Event statistics (counts, breakdowns) are visible to all users • You automatically subscribe to milestone notifications for that event • Aggregated event data is publicly displayed Custom Events (Premium): • You retain ownership of custom event names you create • By creating a custom event, you grant us a license to display it to all users • Custom events may be logged by any premium user Comments (Premium): • You retain ownership of your comments • Comments are publicly visible to all users • We may moderate or remove comments that violate our guidelines

9. Notifications

By using the App, you consent to receive push notifications: • Daily Reminders: Sent at random times (9am-9pm UTC) • Event Milestones: When events reach 1k, 10k, 50k, 100k, 500k, or 1M logs • System Announcements: Important app updates You can manage notification preferences in the app settings. We store your device FCM token to enable notifications.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Day's End and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not: • Copy, modify, or distribute the App • Reverse engineer or decompile the App • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices • Use our name, logo, or trademarks without permission

11. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services: • Firebase (Google): Backend infrastructure • RevenueCat: Subscription management • Google AdMob: Advertising (free users) Use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party service failures or data practices.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that: • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted • Defects will be corrected • The App is free of viruses or harmful components • Event data and statistics are 100% accurate You use the App at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill • Service interruptions or data loss • Any damages arising from your use of the App Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months (if applicable).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Day's End, its affiliates, and service providers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: • Your use of the App • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any rights of others • Content you post or create

15. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

16. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for: • Violation of these Terms • Illegal or fraudulent activity • Extended inactivity • At our sole discretion Upon termination: • Your access to the App will cease immediately • Your event logs and data may be deleted • Premium subscription benefits end (no pro-rata refunds) You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated through: • In-app notifications • Email notifications • Updated "Last Updated" date

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through: 1.
